I’m 11 weeks and woke up to some brown spotting and I don’t feel as sick, deep down I’m sure it’s probably bad news. I’m high risk anyway and I’ve had two previous miscarriages. What is the best thing to do? Just wait until Monday and call epu to get an appointment in the week?

Really sorry for you :-( especially after 2 previous MCs.

I'd call the local early pregnancy assessment unit (or such the like) they can do a scan for you so you know.

Hope you're ok :-(

in my previous pregnancy i had lots of brown spotting he's now 10months it doesn't automatically mean bad news, unless you get cramps and heavy red blood with clots, if you are really worried you could ring out of hours today or want until monday and ring epu plus at 11 weeks it's quite normal for your symptoms to start to go it usually means your placenta is starting to take over :)

it's worrying though but try and stay positive Thanks

I had brown spotting at 8 weeks and now my dd is 11 so as PP said, it’s not necessarily bad news. You should get checked out as soon as possible though to put your mind at ease. Fingers crossed for you.

Thanks everyone for your replies. Our epu isn’t open till Monday so I will call them then, I know that 111 will more than likely recommend the same so it will just be a long wait. I’ve been suffering from HG and it has been extremely bad the past week so to wake up this morning and almost feel normal doesn’t feel good to me. I’m going to try and stay optimistic but I think I know it’s probably not going to be good news.

So sorry this is happening OP Flowers. The same thing happened to me with my first miscarriage. Got to 11 weeks, started to have brown spotting and lost my symptoms. I also had the awkward wait across the weekend before getting scanned. If the bleeding gets any heavier get yourself to a&e. I hope it’s good news for you.
