Feeling so worried after 2 early miscarriages

I’m really confused and worried at the moment and would really appreciate some advice.
I had a baby a year ago. In January I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks (which was very painful, and I had it confirmed at the hospital that it was a miscarriage). I then did a pregnancy test in early April and it was positive, but then I had another miscarriage only about a week and a half after I did the test (so I think I couldn’t have been more than 5 weeks pregnant or so. Also this wasn’t particularly painful and just felt like a bad period.) I didn’t go to the hospital about this one because I’m travelling at the moment, so it wasn’t actually confirmed by a doctor.

I have just done another pregnancy test and it has come out positive as well. Im now wondering if it could be a false positive because of previous pregnancy/miscarriage, and I’m also terrified that I might lose it for a potential third time. I’m also wondering if the last pregnancy was also lingering hormones from the January miscarriage. Is it common to have false positives?

It isn't common to have a false positive.
But it is common to have a false negative.
I've had 6 mc so I understand your pain and I understand your scared.!
Go to the doc and ask them to do a test and if it is confirmed then he or she will book you in for a reassurance scan hopefully to put your mind at ease xxx
