Calf muscle pain

I'm 37 weeks. It's agony! I have definitely not pulled a muscle. Is there anything I can do to ease the pain which doesn't involve swallowing medication? I'm already struggling to swallow iron tablets, without spewing, so any other advice would be great!

Any swelling or tenderness? I don’t want to worry you but my first thought was a possible DVT. It might be worth getting checked.

Is it cramp? I got terrible cramp in my calves when I was pregnant. I found putting my foot flat on the floor would alleviate the pain.

Maybe pop an aspirin (75mg) and see your doctor

I also thought DVT as I was high risk for them previous. But no swelling, etc..
Pain seems to have gone a bit now. Maybe I had just over done it yesterday? Was definitely like a pulled muscle sort of pain

OP, if you’re high risk for DVT and you have calf pain then please get checked.

I'm not high risk for this pregnancy

I used to get similar pain after I'd exercised and it was because of dehydration/electrolyte imbalance. Usually having a magnesium supplement before bed sorted me out!?
