Getting out of bed, and out of all the pillows, is a military operation you have to do at least twice a night to go to the loo.

and then you have to carefully rearrange all the cushions and pillows when you get back into bed.

You know where all the potential loo stops are on your commute (I have an hours drive to and from work).

Getting up off the sofa requires help and / or various grunting noises

Shoes with shoelaces are now replaced by anything you can slip on and off

and, I'm only 32 weeks! Only just in the 3rd trimester.... so much more to come

Lets hear yours :)

Oh crumbs! I'm still in the 2nd trimester and can understand all your points!

ew1990 · 12/04/2018 11:18

DD is now 5 months old but I used to lie in an empty bath because I couldn't get out - now I lie in an empty bath because I'm too exhausted to move, we really need to fit the shower!

MillieMoon94 · 12/04/2018 11:20

All of the above! 5’1” with size 6-8 hips so not fun at all. I got a cracked rib at 28 weeks with my first and couldn’t physically lie on my back after 30 weeks.
With my second, my 3 year old had to help me put my shoes on by 32 weeks and I couldn’t walk up any stairs! We live in a first floor flat so I would’ve been buggered if the lifts had broken, and it also meant I could only deliver DS to the front door of his nursery rather than the actual room upstairs.

Anything dropped on the floor stays on the floor because it's easier than trying to pick it up!
Although this time my toddler has come in very handy for picking things up for me 😂

SprinkleSomeSparkles · 12/04/2018 11:22

Being far too vocal with every movement I make!! Oh and our dog thinking my dh is attacking me each time he hoofs me off the sofa... Ten weeks and counting lol!

Bojangles33 · 12/04/2018 11:32

All of this! Especially the pillows. And now I've got a cold Sad I may not make it.

BumpInTheOven · 12/04/2018 11:40

Sympathising massively with turtles...
Going European with body hair...
Understanding earthquakes better when balancing cereal on bump and baby moves..

MegEmski · 12/04/2018 11:58

@BumpInTheOven yes yes yes to the last 2 especially

@Bojangles33 I had a cold the other week - it's rubbish. How long left?

@emily199027 absolutely. The floor is too far away.

@MegEmski I'm 32+3. I can not believe how debilitating a cold can be, I feel absolutely ridiculous 😂 sneezing is quite the adventure...

emily199027 · 12/04/2018 12:45

@Bojangles33 I got a cold at 32 weeks too! Still got a sniffly nose now! (36 weeks)

RosaBaby2 · 12/04/2018 12:55

Haha the pillows thing is so so true Grin 36+5 here.

user1499786242 · 12/04/2018 12:57

I bought myself a cheap grabby stick thing to pick stuff up off the floor

Don't know whether to be proud or ashamed TBH 😐😭😩

ClangerTwanger · 12/04/2018 13:12

People have now started to say good luck if they don’t see me before the baby comes! I’m 34+5 and plan on seeing 2 of them on Sunday!

cautiousoptimist1 · 12/04/2018 14:01

Oh and I ripped a hole in my sock putting it on on Monday. Holes in socks drive me mad but it was such a feat of endurance to get them on in the first place that I decided to leave it on! I was going to a toddler group and knew it’d be on display too but the other mums were very sympathetic!

MegEmski · 12/04/2018 14:13

oooh a grabby stick. Good idea!
