Waiting for growth scan call

Hi

Im 32 weeks pregnant and had my midwife appointment last Thursday morning. The midwife referred me for a growth scan for slow growth as at 29 weeks he was measuring on the 90th percentile but on last week's appointment he was on the 50th (this is just with the tape measure ) she rang the hospital and then told me the hospital would be in touch and to keep my phone on me at all times as they would ring from a private number and not leave a message. I haven't heard anything yet and just wondered if anyone else had been in similar situation and how long they waited for a call?

Hi i kinda had the same experience but this was just to get my 12 week scan. In February i went for my booking appointment then told in a week or two I'll have my scan date. 2 weeks later no phone call or letter so phoned my midwife to see if she come chase it up. Another week later still nothing so phoned back up and she chased it again. Went back to midwife in March to be told two scans was required and my local hospital did nothing about it. Got in next day as my midwife phoned and knew head of pregnancy care unit. If i was you i would call your midwife and explain she said hopefully chase it up for you.

I'd try not to worry, maybe give them a ring and ask if they can give an estimate of how long.

With my third I had scans every 2-4 weeks throughout to check cervix length due to previous prem babies and they did growth scan each time and he was steadily around 50th, but the midwives measurements were all over the place and at one point she got a measurement about 3-4cm less than the previous one.
