When to take a pregnancy test

I’m 6 weeks post partum and had a condom accident last night - I suspect because we’re extremely out of practise as we’ve not had sex for 6 months.

Anyway, I’ve taken the morning after pill (about 14 hours after the fact) but I’m really worried about pregnancy - I’d want to know ASAP if the MAP failed and I was pregnant so I had time to think - when is the earliest I could use a pregnancy test accurately?

Thanks in advance.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

You wouldn't see a positive for at least 2 weeks from ovulation, so I would say 2 weeks at the least from now! It's so hard but try not to panic, MAP is pretty good!

Thanks Astrid - I know it’s really unlikely but I got pregnant so quick in spite of the odds being against me so I’m really paranoid.

I can’t wait until my DH gets his vasectomy!
