Tilted uterus - no yolk sac visible at about 6 weeks

Hi 😊 back in August last year, I found out I was pregnant and unfortunately started spotting brown and pink blood at 5 weeks. After having my hCG taken every 2 days by the EPU and having them rise but too slowly, they did a scan and saw the pregnancy on my left ovary so it was ectopic 😟 I was treated with methotrexate which resolved it after 2 injections.

Anyway we started trying again 3 months later (you have to wait 3 months after methotrexate) and conceived again last month, February. Unfortunately with that one I started bleeding again (much lighter though) and eventually had a miscarriage, my hormones didn’t even go above 200 according to the bloods they did. I also had a scan (due to my previous ectopic) where not even a sac was visible

It resolved quickly and my hCG was at non pregnant levels by the 16th of February (the bleeding started on the 8th, when I was roughly 5-6 weeks). We decided to start TTCing straight away because it took us months last time, I had a positive OPK on the 25th of Feb and then on the 14th of March took a test and it was a dark positive, darker than the miscarriage one ever got 😁

Anyway this time I feel I’ve had more symptoms than usual and they’re stronger. I feel sick most mornings for a bit, I’m always feeling dizzy if I get up too quick and my boobs have been really painful the last week, with the ectopic and miscarriage they didn’t hurt at all. I’ve also had NO bleeding at all, and just the odd painful twinge which I think is normal. I went for a scan yesterday and scanning my abdomen they could see a sac, so they did an internal scan and they could see the sac again but couldn't see a yolk sac or anything else 😟 but they did say I have a tilted uterus which meant they couldn't get a good view! She said she may have saw something near the bottom of the sac which could be the yolk sac but she can't be sure. She checked my ovaries and said they look fine too

She said it could still be ectopic even if they see a sac, but also said there's nothing at all to suggest it is ectopic and didn't want me to have bloods done either. So I've got to go back in a week to see if anything can be seen 😟 using the start of my miscarriage as my LMP i'm 6w 3d but it's been nearly 4 weeks since I ovulated

Just want to know if anyone has a tilted uterus and had difficulty with them locating the yolk sac etc? I'm terrified its ectopic again 😟

Hi! I had an early scan to query ectopic and I thought I was 6 weeks. Could only see the gestation sac and nothing in it and no yolk sac. they said it could be still ectopic. I went back a week later and we saw everything in the right place and even a heart beat and I was only measuring 5 weeks 6 days when I thought I was about 7 weeks! Turns out my LMP date was a week behind actual. If you know when you ovulated it's more likely you're around 4 weeks pregnant, and its too early to see everything because it's so small.
Fingers crossed everything is ok for you x

Glad things went well for you 😊 I'm hoping the yolk sac is there as she really did struggle to get a good view and may have saw something but we'll see. My symptoms are definitely getting worse I've felt sick all morning!
