Flu Jab?

Hi Smile

I am currently 8 weeks +2 and have just had my booking in appointment, it's still not sunk in that I'm actually pregnant! Can't wait for the first scan Grin

Anyway, I was advised to get the Flu jab but have heard about it actually giving people the flu, although the midwife assured me it didn't. I was just wondering of peoples experiences of this and if it is worth me having the jab?

TIA for any help/advice!

I have just been into the local chemist and was advised that as it is now out of flu season I don't need the flu jab?

Enjoy not having it Wink pregnancy safe probiotics for an immune boost and some kefir if you like instead

I asked my midwife yesterday as hadn't had it yet and she said as at the end of the flu season she didn't think our surgery would give it now, and the risks of getting flu were much lower so not to worry....
