So im 40+6 and yesterday and mainly today I've had a constant ache in my bump, aswell as low down period pain and a constant ache in my back (but mid back not lower). It doesn't seem to come and go for me to time them and it doesn't feel like tightening like i would expect contractions to feel like. Anyone had any experience of this?

Constant pain is something that would probably prompt me to give triage a ring just to see f they want to see you. It can be nothing worrying but it is worth having a chat with them

Have you been in labour before?
Pain that you can't just ignore is worth asking the MWs about.

No this is the first time. I probably shouldn't describe it as pain, more a constant dull ache. Babys moving fine, feel a bit stupid phoning the mw if this is a normal part of pre-labour and I've just got to wait it out

If you can go to sleep (as easily as any day last week), then you can ignore it.
If you can't sleep, then worth a chat with MWs.
Round ligament pain can present as a dull ache, too.
