Major paranoid, drank until 14 weeks found out I was pregnant at 15 weeks.

I binge drank at 2&3 weeks then at 9&10 then 11&14, drs and midwifes have said it should be fine but honestly so worried, can’t sleep and having extreme panic attacks. Any help would be so appreciated.

Had a scan at 17 weeks and everything was fine but still hasn’t stop my paranoia.

Babies still there so it's fine. Honestly the whole don't drink thing is just because they're not sure how much is safe, not because any is catastrophic.

Just don't keep binge drinking and you'll be fine.

LOADS of women drink (and sometimes worse) before they find out they're pregnant. I went out and got completely smashed (friends birthday party) three days before I found out. Bubba is absolutely fine.

As long as you don't continue to drink you'll both be fine.

Please try not to worry. Whilst I agree that you shouldn't drink during pregnancy (or that 1 or 2 probably don't hurt) I also feel quite aware that once upon a time women drunk throughout their pregnancy and lots without complications. Obviously I'm not advocating it but it's worth trying to keep some perspective. A friend of mine didn't find out she was pregnant until she was 6 months (never had periods anyway) and she drunk like a fish up until she found out - I'm talking binge drinking a couple of times a month and a few glasses in between too. Her baby was fine. She could of course have just been lucky. I'm just trying to say don't worry.

I know how you feel but please don't worry! I got hammered two days before I found out and felt so so guilty - now at 22 weeks with a very kicky little man inside Smile

I appreciate it's not ideal but just make changes now you know and I'm sure everything will be fine xx

I wouldn't worry. Friend was 27 weeks before she found out she was pregnant. She had coil so therefore no period and baby was tucked in well so no bump. She drank a lot during that time. Baby is now a healthy/hyper 3 year old.

What's done is done. You can't change what's happened, only what you do moving forward.

Chances are more than likely that everything will be just fine.
