To ring midwife or is this normal?

I'm 33 weeks pregnant and have just had a really horrid sudden throbbing pain right at the bottom of my tummy into the crotch area on the right hand side (it's not fanny daggers). Whilst I had the pain I felt very sick and the baby started moving very frequently.

I've laid down for 20 minutes and pain seems to have eased, is this normal??

Have baby’s movements returned to normal too?

Ring your midwife or assessment centre they will be able to help you Smile

Hi OP I didn’t want to read and run. I am no expert but maybe try calling 111, it doesn’t sound “normal” sort of pain. I’ve had twins amd don’t remember having any pain like you describe it won’t hurt to get things checked out? Good luck and hope it’s nothing serious to be concerned about

Babies movements have returned to normal now. I have been active today and I've got a bad virus so wondering if I've over done it a bit.

Change in movements should definitely be checked even if it's gone back to normal, especially this late in the game.
