How often do you have midwife appointments?

Just that really.
Had my first midwife appointment at 8/9 weeks, since then I haven't seen her but have had my first scan at 12 weeks. Also had bloods taken then that they were supposed to take on the first midwife appointment but couldn't due to dehydration and shoddy veins.
Thinking I should be seeing her again soon?
Honestly can't remember how often I saw the midwife with my first pregnancy, can I blame it on baby brain yet?

I saw/will see my midwife at
Booking appointment (9 weeks)
16 weeks
28 weeks (saw consultant at 23 weeks)
34 weeks
36 weeks

Hope this helps

Yep, the schedule above is correct. You don't see them as much with your 2nd or more as generally you know what to expect and they really don't do much until about 28 weeks. Obviously, you'll be seen more often if there's a reason to though. I had a weird heart rate reading at 28 weeks which meant I got sent into the ward for some extra monitoring (it was just a weird blip, all fine), but because of that, I got one extra appt at 31 weeks. Otherwise, next would have been at 34 weeks. But it looks like your next one should be 16 weeks, but you need to book that yourself, so if you haven't, I would call and set it up.

Thank you!
Thought the next might have been 16 weeks but wasn't sure Grin
