How early can I take a pregnancy test?

Pretty much the question is in the title, I don’t want to waste money on clear blue if I don’t have to.

If you use first response you can get earlier results - I got a squinter at 9dpo and then feint lines from 10dpo and by 13dpo strong line and a positive clear blue digital. I don't think clear blues are highly sensitive compared to some others.
