So as per the title of this thread...I'm 37 weeks and I feel reaaaallly weird, it's the only way I can describe it!! Obviously now I'm full term, I'm wondering when the action will happen.
I feel like I'm done with the nesting thing, I've painted, scrubbed, bleached, arranged and rearranged, packed my bags...but this week I am exhausted. I've just wanted to sleep all day every day and can't even cope with cooking tea in the evening. I've had crampy/dull aches on and off but it hasn't come to anything. I was induced at 39 weeks with DD1 due to medical reasons, so being 'left to it' this time round feels really weird!
Is anybody else feeling/previously had this or have any idea if labour might be sneaking up on me?! I feel like my body is totally in control of my mind. I want to get out and walk the dog, go to town ect but I just physically can't!!

I think that all sounds normal for end of pregnancy, which might be a sign of something or might not. Certainly, your body is definitely getting ready for labour at this point. My first was born (naturally, not induced) at 37 weeks, so I suspect I tend to go early. I'm 36 weeks now, but from 35 weeks, I've been having on/off period cramps, exhaustion (like to the point of falling asleep sitting at my desk, normally I'm pretty functional and work into the evenings some days), nausea and just generally feel like I did in first tri. I had cramps the other night that woke me up at 3am and were uncomfortable enough I had to breathe through them. It's par for the course, I'm afraid. I'm hoping to make it to 37 weeks (this weekend) at least, but I do think it generally means things are getting close. Though 'close' could still be several weeks away.

Equally though I never had any signs I was going into labour the first time, even though it happened on its own. I wasn't expecting it so early and had no symptoms. So I never had that waiting around thinking every twinge was something experience. My waters went and a few hours later my dd arrived. It definitely has made me a bit paranoid this time as I don't know how to interpret any of this as I'm having so many more symptoms than last time, but who knows what they mean?

Yes! I take to take some paracetamol for cramps on Saturday night and thought that might be 'the moment' but I ended up nodding off and they had disappeared by the morning. Totally get you on the tiredness front too, luckily I've finished work now. I wouldn't have been able to carry on this week.

So hard to tell what are real signs and what are just end of pregnancy niggles! Glad to hear of somebody else's niggles too so thanks for that :) Best of luck for when your LO decides to make an appearance!
