That’s it’s really. I’m 14 weeks 4 days and I’ve alreafy put on 6lbs.

I put on a lot with my DS and was determined not to do the same this time round so have been strict about following a really healthy plan.

Anyone else in the same boat as me. Not sure what the solution is because I don’t know what other changes I can make! Maybe increase my daily walking...

Just wanted to add, I’ve had multiple miscarriages so I’m very happy to be pregnant, but for that reason I wanted to make sure I’m in optimal health and this weight gain worries me.

Yes. I'm 20 weeks with my 2nd and have put on more than that Blush

I'm trying to have healthier snacks around. But all I want is carbs at the moment (sorry no help but you aren't alone).

Thanks for replying... it’s most comforting to know I’m not alone to be honest! I’m craving lighter evenings so I can get out walking more than I am. Move over winter, I’m done with you!

Are you actually eating more or is it just bloating?

AKP79 · 17/01/2018 15:47

Don’t think I’m eating more and in fact, could barely eat at all for the first 10 weeks.

My rings became very tight early on as did my boots, so it’s possible it’s bloating. I hadn’t really considered that.

It's very common in early pregnancy. Don't panic!

12 weeks and 1 stone here. I eat or I feel sick. I am the same re weight gain with my daughter, and miscarriages. I'm trying to let it go and focus on eating less when (!) the sickness passes. I don't think your weight gain is bad. If you started off a normal BMI then recommended gain is between 1-2.5 stone during preg.

I'm 14 weeks and have put on 5.5lb (this is my first) but to be honest it's all stomach so I'm not worried. My clothes etc all still fit other than my waistline or course! Queue belly belt from amazon so I can still wear my normal size Wink

I don't know my exact weight but at 15+4 I would say I've put on at least 6 lbs, maybe 7. I don't really feel like this is a lot (or didn't until I saw this thread!) - I'm assuming some of it is my belly, and at least 2 lbs on my boobs!

0310Star · 17/01/2018 17:53

Above post has just made me realise that boobs are probably a pretty big reason for my weight gain also, considering I've gone up a cup size already lol
