Pregnant!! How far along an I ?!

Hi All, so I just found out Im pregnant!!! :):D

Im trying to work out my dates... going from the first day of my last period (7.12.17)I should be 5+2. However my periods have been regular and always lasted 6 days in the past until Last month (December) when I was 4 days late then only had very light bleeding for 1 day and a half / 2 days... when I have read up it seems that may have been implantation bleeding. Meaning I actually could be 9+5.

Does anyone have experience of clear blue digital and how accurate they are in telling how far along you are???? I took one yesterday tea time and it says 2-3 but none of my dates would work out to only be 2-3 weeks?? I have read they can be in accurate and you could be further along than the test states?

Im still in shock at the thought of finally getting pregnant and this is all soooo confusing!!

Congratulations! I think the digital tests only go up to 2-3 weeks so you would get that reading even if you were full term! Midwife should be able to refer you for an early daring scan if you explain your confusion about dates.

2-3 weeks on the digital means from conception - so add 2 weeks (ish) to your LMP and you get 4-5 weeks, which fits

However the digital test dates are supposed to be a bit of fun, not a proper dating method, so you will need to wait for a dating scan to be sure
