So it's now nearly 7am. Went to bed at 11. Have slept between 1am and 3.10.. That's it.
I'm. Shattered sleeping on my side is not comfortable.. And obviously not allowed to sleep on back or belly. Tried pillows, normal and pregnancy ones ( but they make me feel claustrophobic, daft I know)

I'm at my wits end now. Stupid thing is if i laid down in the afternoon I'd be soundo within minutes.. Which I try to avoid in hope that I'd be so exhausted that I'd sleep at night... Doesn't happen!

Been looking online and it keeps coming up that benadryl is safe.. Just wondering if anyone has used it. I wouldn't every night just when I desperately need to.

Feel awful if I went to the gp and it would seem like I'm being trivial. But I honestly can't cope with it.

It is considered a safe drug during pregnancy. I would just have a word with your GP first though as they know your medical history/other medication you're on etc.

Ihaterapmusic · 05/01/2018 07:13

OK. Not on any other medication or anything and no medical issues. Except low iron.

Ihaterapmusic · 05/01/2018 07:19

Mines only just stepped up a gear to be honest (37 weeks) however trying to look at it as preparation for what's to come Hmm

Try asking your local pharmacist they should be able to advise if it's safe and if there are any other options available to you. I hope you find a solution and get some sleep soon.

Thanks ladies. Yesterday I kinda talked myself out of it and thought just ride it out hopefully things get better..

Well now at 3. 15am I'm wishing I had gone to the pharmacy to get some..

Samantha switch off and my legs feel like they weigh a tonne but in an achey way.
Currently pacing up and down the living room trying to tire myself out.. Have been for over an hour.

Thing is, I know if I could lay on my belly sprawled out or on my back with my legs elevated I'd be asleep.. But obviously we can't sleep on our backs now. 8 weeks to go!
