Am I pregnant??

I'm so so confused and looking for advice...
Myself and my partner haven't been using any contraception fro a few months now with the attitude of getting pregnant would be great but with out any pressure due to previous fertility problems. Thing is it's been 7weeks with no period but pregnancy test are saying negative.

If this too early to show on a test? Im not really sure what to think or feel.

Has this happened to anyone? What do you think?

Is it 7 weeks since the first day of your lat period? If so I would have thought you would have got a positive by now but ive heard of women who have had to wait a bit longer. Maybe worth a visit to the gp but you mention previous fertility issues have you had that investigated?

Yes Im sure it has been 7 weeks since the first day of my last period. My past fertility problems where due to have PCOS but since I have had them removed so shouldn't be a problem now. I'm just abit confused as I thought I'd get a positive but maybe it's something else...

Hi Jodie, if you've a negative test is fairly save to assume you're not pregnant. It's not that unusual to totally skip a period sometime in your life. Alternatively you might have ovulated crazy late and either pregnancy positive or your period will come in due course if that's the case. I'd just test weekly till you get one or the other.

Your period could be late for stress reasons/illness? Or you could be pregnant but too early to test if you conceived late in your cycle. I didn't get a positive when I first tested few days after period was due. Tested next day, still negative. Then I waited a week then got a very faint positive!

I'm in a similar boat! 5 weeks since AF and still a BFN.

I’m 20 days late for my period have been testing ever since my first day late had negitive Athens had positives on clear blues really faint went to doc got bloods still negitive had wee bit spotting for like 5 mins after sex then done urine sample sent to lab came bk negitive that was Thursday 7th December then yesterday Saturday 9th December done a pink dye test from pound land the plastic stick test and it’s came up faint positve going out my mind if I am or not pregnant have been feeling sick headaches sore boobs tired moody ect some people saying these could all be evap line I’ve all the pictures of my tests but don’t no how to upload

@Justamadposer69 oh you must be going out of your mind :( when did you first call the docs? How late were you?

Last spoke to doctors on Thursday for ma urine results that went to the lab on the Tuesday and they came bk negitive but I done another test yesterday and got faint positive arhhh I’ve pictures but don’t no how to upload

@Justamadposer69 did it take you a long time to get a BFP with any of the other pregnancies? I hope you get one soon!

Oh gosh I can’t remember if I’m honest but least I got a straight positive with all my other pregnancy’s.... I’m going out my mind as my periods is nearly 21 days late and with doing that test yesterday with that wee faint positive it’s playing on my mind as I just wanna no if I defo am or not?? Suppose I can keep testing myself all this week before I go to the docs on Friday hopefully faint line gets stronger or my doc gives me some answers as I’ve done urine tests blood test last week and week before all negitive awwww
