Hi, sorry for the tedious question but I wondered if anyone had any experience of this (our company mat leave policy is unclear on the subject, I have emailed hr but we have one of those global hr functions that take weeks to answer emails and I just wanted to get a bit of an idea for how we are going to save to cover reduced pay during mat leave). My company's mat leave policy is 20 weeks at full pay and 19 weeks at half pay, I receive a car allowance as part of my overall package but I take it as cash and it is added to my monthly pay. Does this get halved as well or is it just basic salary that is halved? Thanks in advance!
