What’s up with these nose bleeds?

I started with nose bleeds around 18 weeks pregnant. Bizarrely always either a Wednesday or a Thursday Hmm They got more regular about 22 weeks and tended to happen every Thursday (is that normal?!) I’m now 26 weeks and I had my Thursday nose bleed yesterday as usual. But now I’m having a Friday nose bleed! Really?! They’ve definitely got worse too, I dripped which is new (thank goodness not onto my new cream this-will-do-me-all-the-way-through cardigan!) I’m supposed to be starting blood thinners at 28 weeks but I’m a bit worried I’ll turn into a human tap if I do!

I never ever had a nose bleed before pregnancy so for me, this is really weird! Noses are for bogeys, not blood.

Normal, though annoying. Don't know why it would be every Thursday though! What do you do on Wednesdays or Thursdays that you don't normally do?

Yep I had them too when pregnant. Totally normal but very random - most happened when I was sat still

I had them too. If you hold your arm above your head for the nostril that is bleeding it makes it stop so much faster.

I work Grin that’s the difference! Wednesday Thursday and Friday I’m a nanny with 4 kids under 7. Monday Tuesday I do a much shorter, easier job with no twins to shepherd. Maybe you’ve solved it relax!

You've brought back awful memories about my pregnancy nose bleeds! I cut around like an extra from the walking dead on a bi daily basis. I can remember being in the chemist and gushed blood all over my huge bump that just had to be covered in a white T-shirt. The fuckers made me pay for a pack of tissues!
They will stop though, that's the good news.
