In 34 weeks and I've been up all night weeing ! I've got period type pains, sore bump and pressure in my bum. Does that sound normal? The cramping is every 6 mins or so and at the front

That sounds suspicious...I'd definitely be giving your midwife a call

FluffyFlowerFace · 14/10/2017 11:39

It eases off I'm hoping it's Braxton hicks. My bump hasn't dropped and I've had no mucus plug loss and no back pain

ScotsLamb · 14/10/2017 11:48

I would call the midwife too.

FluffyFlowerFace · 14/10/2017 12:04

I've left a message on their answer machine

FluffyFlowerFace · 14/10/2017 12:09

FluffyFlowerFace · 14/10/2017 12:14

If I'm finding these painful I don't think I'll do well in labour

OP posts:
Ilovechocolate111 · 14/10/2017 12:18

You'll be fine. Everyone says that lol.. I always think the pain was worth it in the end xx

FuckMyUterus · 14/10/2017 12:40

OP please dont worry yourself about labour, when I was pregnant with my son, I found BH way more painful than the real thing.

FluffyFlowerFace · 14/10/2017 19:44

They were not braxtons they were labour

FuckMyUterus · 14/10/2017 20:07

Oh, congratulations! Have you had the baby then or still in labour?Brew

ChocolatePancake · 14/10/2017 20:12

I was just about to say I'd definitely go and make them see you because it sounds like labour and then I read your last message! Congratulations! Is all well?

FluffyFlowerFace · 14/10/2017 20:17

Sunshinegirl82 · 14/10/2017 20:18

Must all be a bit of a shock OP given that you thought you had quite a few weeks to go. How is baby getting on?

Sunshinegirl82 · 14/10/2017 20:21

Cross post. Glad to hear baby is doing well, look after yourself.

Roseandbee · 14/10/2017 20:28

Congratulations! Glad he's doing ok:) Well no wonder you found them painful! If you get a chance I'd be curious to hear at what point you realised it was really labour?

FluffyFlowerFace · 14/10/2017 20:33

When I got to thr hospital rose honestly I was 8cm and didn't know!

Ohwell14 · 14/10/2017 20:34

Mustang27 · 14/10/2017 20:47

Well done and congrats. I’d be really miffed they didn’t take you more seriously but you did amazing.

ChocolatePancake · 14/10/2017 21:16

It sounds like you did amazing. Not many women can post when in labour! I'm glad he's doing okay. I know this isn't what you had planned but things will work out, and you have a tiny little early eager beaver to look forward to taking home for cuddles!! Flowers

InThisTogether · 14/10/2017 21:16

Ooh well done OP x
Glad he and you are doing well x x

ScotsLamb · 14/10/2017 21:24

Amazing! Have you told your midwife it wasn't braxton hicks?

You were right to be concerned about the pain level then. Well done x

FluffyFlowerFace · 15/10/2017 11:05

Yep trust instincts ladies. I'm awaiting a review from medical team to find out what happened but he seems ok. Out of incubator and passed hearing test x
