33 1/2 weeks , having a scan this arvo after me being poorly last week, resulting in some reduced movement.

What kind of thing should I expect from this scan - they haven’t really told me anything.

Also, at this point do I still need to have a full bladder? The receptionist literally couldn’t get me off the phone quick enough when she was booking me in!

Where are you having the scan ? Nhs or private ?

You don't need a full bladder at this stage.

I would expect that they would locate the heartbeat straight. It gets a bit cramped in the at this stage!

No need for full bladder. From what I remember they Check babies heartbeat, amniotic fluid levels and blood flow through cord/placenta.

Thanks everyone. It went well thank you. They checked his heart , did all the measurements, position, waters , cord flow etc and all looks great.

He’s measuring about the 50th centile which is brilliant (although compared to my bump measurements he looks like he has dropped, but you can’t really compare the 2) .
