21 weeks and aching...what's wrong with me?!

Hi everyone,
I'm 21+3 and I am really struggling with aches and pains. I'm really lucky that I didn't suffer with morning sickness, but my god am I making up for it in other ways!!
I have a constant ache in my pubic bony area when I walk (like very late pregnancy when the head engages), and a constant ache all around my lower abdomen and lower back. The ache almost feels like trapped wind but it never gets relieved. I've had this for a few weeks now and it's making me feel really rough.
Has anybody had anything similar??

Don't feel bad. There is absolutely nothing wrong with you, growing a baby is tough. I'm feeling the exact same. I have a microwavable heat pack constantly on my back. PGP is very painful. We're halfways there so I'm just getting by as best I can. Get lots of rest and don't push yourself too much.Flowers

Hi, no advice either but a bit relieved it's not just me with the pelvic ache!! I'm 19 weeks and noticing after walking 'a while' (like round supermarket for a big food shop) I get that achey walk that didn't start until about 32 weeks with DD. Dread to think what it'll be like when I'm actually at the 'official' waddling stage! Also finding it hard to get comfortable when sitting or lying down! My bump is still pretty small so I was feeling a bit anxious as to why the aches and pains have kicked in this early. Glad I'm not alone!! X

I had a little morning sickness. It was for less than one week. I had not any other problem during my whole pregnancy. Itching was a new thing for me. Why it happens? Is there any specific reason related with baby growth? I don't think so. What your doctor says? My pregnancy was very smooth. I only felt baby movement in my whole time. I was doing job with it. It was so easy for me to handle all matters. I was also travelling a lot about 4 hours a day. But it didn't had any bad effect on my pregnancy. I couldn't take much leaves so I was bit worried about my travelling. Thanked God all things were managed so easily.

Ashley if you're very itchy, get your bloods done for a liver function test. You're growing too so keep moisturising.

Aches and pains are normal particularly T this stage.. mine kicked in at 16weeks and was awful until 21weeks, burning pubic bone is horrible. It's PGP or SPD, completely normal. You can ask midwife or GP to refer you to physio

Try going to a Pilates class. The stretches and muscle strengthening exercises might help. My lower back is aching but I get on the floor and do some of the stretches and it gives some relief.

Thanks guys, glad I'm not alone either!! I feel so fed up today that I'm taking a day off sick. Going to see the doctor in an hour or so just to get checked over and make sure it's nothing obvious like a UTI or something!
I'll let you know what they say, it might be useful to you too :)

I had this , it came and went throughout pregnancy. I was told to rest and take paracetamol.

It's really frustrating op but I do think that avoiding stairs , not sitting cross legged and sitting comfortably whenever possible are the only things that help.
