I am really scared. There was not much there, but I haven't had any bleeding at all up until this point. I have an appointment at the hospital at 2:30am, but apparently they won't be scanning me, just taking urine samples etc? I am so frightened and I don't know what to do with myself for the next 3 hours. Has anyone else been through this? Sad

Update: just went 'up there' with a finger, and saw spots of red mixed with discharge. This is awful.

TeaAndToast85 · 30/09/2017 23:46

@Zeelove nope, no pains at all. X

I'd phone 111 (if you're in the uk) and ask them what to do. I really hope everything is okay Flowers

I'm guessing it's an emergency app at 2.30? I know it's hard but try not to stress yourself out. A friend of mine had a slight bleed at 11 weeks and it turned out to be nothing

ruthieruthuk · 01/10/2017 00:17

I had some bleeding in early pregnancy and was worried sick however everything was fine, it's very common so try n relax, I know easier said than done. Good luck xx

TeaAndToast85 · 01/10/2017 02:22

Thanks everyone, yes I phoned 111 and they arranged this emergency appt for me. I'm in the waiting room now. The waiting is horrible. Just want to be at home in bed.

Any updates op?

TeaAndToast85 · 01/10/2017 03:34

The doctor took blood pressure/temperature etc, had a quick prod of my tummy, and then sent me home, telling me to get my gp to refer me to the early pregnancy unit at my local hospital on Monday. Not feeling very reassured, wish I could have had a scan. Apparently my 2 local hospitals closed their gyno/maternity wings today, possibly because of a virus, do that might make Monday quite difficult. Now just lying here, praying that this all amounts to nothing. Sad thanks for your reassuring words, everyone.

Good luck - hope it turns out well. Sorry you have to wait to find out Flowers

I had this several times in my last pregnancy, the last incident at 14 weeks. Each time baby was fine and no cause was found except they thought I just had a sensitive cervix. Loads of different things can cause a bleed from sex to straining to hard on the loo! It's highly likely it's nothing to worry about.

Misssmoo · 01/10/2017 10:28

It's very scary and I think its really hard when you can't have a scan this happened to me in my last preg at 12 weeks and I had to wait a few days to be scanned x

scottishem · 01/10/2017 10:48

I had the exact same thing at 11 weeks. I called my EPU the next morning who said that as I'm not in any pain/cramps and the blood isnt heavy or red to not worry and that cervical erosion is very common and its most likely to be a bit of irritation and to just monitor it. A week later I had my 12 week scan and there was baby bouncing away Smile

TeaAndToast85 · 01/10/2017 22:21

Thanks again for the reassuring messages. I'm going to be outside my GP when it opens tomorrow to get a referral to the EPAC, because they stop scanning at 11am! Stressful. I've spent all day lying down on the sofa with the cat, and I've seen no blood at all. Taking that as a good sign. X
