Honestly Jelly, I really don't think anything works unless baby is ready to arrive Some things might help if you're body is close to starting labour but I think you might be looking for a miracle which doesn't exist. I can't help but think that if any of this stuff actually worked, there would be no need for medical inductions in hospital.

I read yesterday that apparently once the baby's lungs are mature, the baby produces a hormone which triggers labour! Interesting, eh? So I guess your baby isn't quite done baking just yet.

I know it's frustrating and I know you've been fed up for weeks and are soooooo ready for your baby to arrive, but you must be driving yourself a bit crazy too. Maybe just take a deep breath and know that baby will be here within a week or so. You won't be pregnant forever x

Sorry OP i don't have the answer but at 36 week appt the
Midwife said ideally they would like to get me to go into labour sooner rather than later (although no talk of induction) so they have booked a few sweeps and told me to take 6 raspberry Leaf Capsules a day.

I asked about EPO and she told me not to bother but i could if i wanted to... although i would only take it orally not internally!

Raspberry leaf is taken to shorten the 2nd stage of labour. It's a uterine tonic, nothing to do with starting labour.

None of the old wives tales work I'm afraid.
