Anyone else suffering? I'm 25weeks pregnant and wake up religiously at 2am until at least half 4 every night 😴

Any tips to help this pregnant zombie?

So I've not helped myself at all just read that conspiracy theories thread on here.... wide awake now! 🙈

TheVoiceOfTreason · 23/09/2017 07:48

Same. I usually get woken up by my bladder and then toss and turn loads because I can't get back to sleep. I now have the mother of all cold sores because I'm so run down... 😢

G1988 · 23/09/2017 08:10

So I tried the suggested trick of having a little snack and it actually worked, I actually fell back to sleep. All it took was a spoonful of peanut butter!!

@Sittingintheshade having a cold is the worst as there really isn't much you can take. Have you tried viks first defence nasal spray? You're allowed it and it helped me fight off a cold. Although hope it's not too late for you

Wake up every single night about this time and will be now for the next few hours its so annoying and tonight my pelvis has decided to really hurt, I'm 38 weeks

Efferlunt · 24/09/2017 04:03

34 weeks. Here we are up at 4 as usual...

Monkeypuzzle32 · 24/09/2017 04:09

27+2 and been awake since 2am, I gave up and I'm now lying on the sofa MNetting!
I'm so tired too but just cannot get back to sleep, I find I'm waking up to go to the loo and can't sleep again, or my DH will wake up/go to the loo/stir and that wakes me up.
Thank goodness I don't have work tomorrow as I have to get up at 4:45 and I could just cry (and have!) with tiredness.

Arghhhh it frustrating isn't it! Welcome to the thread hee hee nice to know we can all have a bit of company during this nocturnal phase!!! 🦇 🌙 tonight I've got a whistling nostril to add to my ailments keeping me awake! DH is snoring away! Lucky him!
xx

Sittingintheshade · 24/09/2017 04:26

G1988 I think I'm sadly past trying that although I did use it last time I was pg. awake with baby sleeping on me just now.....will try to get him back in his cot soon and hopefully get another hour before the first feed. Fingers crossed

Robots1Humans0 · 24/09/2017 04:33

Monkeypuzzle32 · 24/09/2017 04:35

I've got a whistling nostril too! Weird isn't it? I've just eaten a biscuit so let's see if that works!

Cupcakey · 24/09/2017 04:44

Hee hee whistling nostrils are weird and very annoying been amusing myself whistling the eastenders tune.. think I might be getting a bit of sleep deprived sillyitus 🙈 good luck everyone let's hope we get a bit of sleep before the nights over! Luckily tonight dd is at my mums so if i do have a miracle happen and nod off I can at least sleep in a little bit (oh please let it be!!! )
Hope the biscuit works xxxx 😴

ProseccoPoppy · 24/09/2017 05:01

Only 13 weeks. Remember it from last time but already? urgh. DH is in the spare room because apparently I am too wriggly. Almost tempted to go and see if DD would like to wake up for a cuddle - but realise that would be mean (and result in a cranky toddler).

G1988 · 24/09/2017 05:16

No magic peanut butter tonight, been awake since 3am. DP is on the sofa tonight so I'm currently watching Hollyoaks. Haven't watched this in years!! At least I have plenty of uninterrupted hours of researching things to buy for the baby. Currently trying to decide on the next to you cribs, have no clue which one to get

I've had it the whole way through both pregnancies. Been up since 4.25am today despite being SO tired (37 weeks pregnant at mo)

No advice to offer although with first baby, I found it really helped when the baby came as I was so used to the lack of sleep, whereas DH really struggled!

Loosemoose28 · 30/09/2017 04:33

Wide awake - and hungry.
