We don't know if it is boy or girl but have the following names on our short list:
Jude
Jasper
Joel

Martha
Philippa
Iona
Isla
Ok so let rip with some honest opinions we have only 5 weeks to go. By the way, it needs to go with dd who is a Daisy and ds who is a Barnaby.

I like Jude for a boy and Iona for a girl. Iona is very popular where I live (highlands), Isla not far behind.

I love Joel and Philippa

I hate Jude. Makes me think of Jude Law and he's just a prize twunt IMO.
Jaspers nice but I called a hamster that and then I think of Jasper Carrot.
Joel, makes me think of 80's America but I dont know why.

Phillipa, is too close to a boys name
Iona, sounds like a metal
Isla, ok

But I lurrrrrrve Martha. Gorgeous.

However having put all that. It matters not what anyone else thinks. Its what you love.

I am originally Scottish, hence the Isla and Iona, but it doesn't seem so popular amongst the English.

Martha is lovely.

Martha is lovely as is Jasper. Goes well with your other kiddies names.

OOOH, We know we're having a boy but our top two girls names were Isla Grace and Martha Emily. Spooky!! DH also loved Iona but I wasn't keen simply because I knew someone horrid at uni called that. It's still a lovely name though!

I also LOVE Jasper, Jude and Joel. DH has chosen our boys names though so none of those three are getting a look in!

I really like Martha and Iona off your girls list. Know one of each so not totally weird.

Also know an Isla - Isla and Iona I know both have Scottish parents.

Philippa fairly unusual now. Not mad about boys-into-girls names (Nigella, Erica, Thomasina, Davidina) personally. (usual caveat applies).

Boys - I like Jasper best of those.

i like jude, jasper, martha. like philippa but would shorten it to pippa.

call dd Isla but dh vetoed it, my sister now has an Isla and I still love the name.

Joel is also a great name

Martha Grace is absolutely lovely, it seems very gentle and kind as a name...does that make sense?! Defo my fav!

Isla and Iona are also lovely...more so cos of your roots.

Phillipa seems a bit harsh to me, but I can see the attraction with Pippa!

Joel is my fave of the boys name...I'm having Jude Law and Jasper Carrot issues too I'm affraid!
