This is no help whatsoever, but I agree. There are absolutely no good boy names at all! 😩 Fingers crossed we both gave girls!

There's a baby names topic on here. It might give you some new inspiration. ☺️

We have a Teddy and a Bertie

TheVoiceOfTreason · 16/09/2017 16:24

I like quite a few of the list above. Theo is a lovely name. I also love Sydney, but might be balanced as my Grandpa, one of the nicest men ever, was also called Sydney. I love Harry too but it is mega popular right now.

My current favourite male name, if we have a boy, would be Isaac (sadly also quite popular, though as I understand it less so than Harry).

I also quite like Connor, it's a strongly got Irish connotations though and neither of us are even remotely Irish so not sure if it would really work for us! It does suit our surname though...

lolo1993 · 16/09/2017 16:52

I'm not sure on Isaac, it reminds me of like a foreign name lol. I used to like Vinny when I was pregnant with my son but not sure on it anymore! I love Riley but my cousin is called that 😑 whys it so hard haha

Yea I love the name Sydney its not majorly popular aswell which I like, and I also like Harry but it is extremly popular and it wouldn't go very well with dads surname. I do like the name Leo but my bf likes the name Sydney more and girls names I like Lola but he likes skyler which I'm really not sure about lol I guess when there born il just look at them and think of what name they look like they suit x

The only one I like on there is Freddie and that's my other halfs little boys name haha. God the rest of them I wouldn't ever call my children 😂 I must be really fussy

Roxx1516 · 17/09/2017 18:12

Freddie is the most conman name tho and it gets shortend to Fred which reminds me of an old man lol. There's plenty of other nice boys names out there

lolo1993 · 17/09/2017 20:20

Yeah, I don't like Fred 😂. My other half calls he's son Fred or short and I don't like it but I think Freddie is cute lol . I'm just hoping I don't have a boy because I don't like any boys names ha

Roxx1516 · 17/09/2017 20:48

Ha that's what I think I find out in 4 weeks what I have, I'm so nervous and Iv never found out before, my other two were surprises. Names are so hard ATM and then you and your partner have to agree on then too 🙈😂 x

JennyBlueWren · 17/09/2017 21:16

For my first baby I took the top 500 boys names and deleted all the ones I didn't like. I'm a teacher so a lot of "associations" with names. Gave DH the short list to do the same. We were left with about 10 names and then DH just announced a preference and it stuck.

This time round (before even starting to TTC!!) DH announced a really odd choice of names which he has decide upon. Can't remember either of them as they were that odd. If only my dad's name wasn't so similar to his I would have insisted on naming him after my dad (who did a couple of years ago) out of sentimental reasons just to avoid having a weird name!

boredofmyoldname · 17/09/2017 21:24

How about:
Blake
Harris
Bryce
Rory
Hayden
Christian
Damien
Jasper
Dylan
Ellis
Rhys/Reece
Evan
Ethan

Might be worth checking out the baby names board for some inspiration :)
