12 weeks scan in 2 days anyone else joining me

So yeah had a couple of early scans one I paid for at 6 weeks and 1 at 8 weeks when I had spotting. Both fine heartbeat present and all well. My morning sickness was horrendoes that I needed pills but now this weeks it's gone and I feel more human although I have awful headaches. Just wondered if anyone here same timing as me? Scan is 11th sept 330 and I just can't wait to get it over with and find out if things are ok?! I hopefully will stop stressing then!

I'm 12+5 and had my scan on Thursday, like you I had already had 2 early scans due to scares so had seen heartbeat at 8 weeks also but I was still terrified until I saw baby again.
Scan was amazing so much more detailed than I remember with my daughter but that was nearly 13 years ago, so may as well be first pregnancy for me lol
I am so nervous and worried with this pregnancy and I don't know why I just feel like I'm not enjoying it and can't get excited and I so so want to.

Good news on your scan tho! It's so hard I'm worried because my sickness has gone, last week it just disappeared but other than that no issues to crossing everything for Monday!! I feel I won't get much sleep before now and then

Symptoms can disappear, by week 11 all mine had gone and I did worry a bit but had my scan a week later and there was a happy wriggling baby 😊

Hi! Our 12 week scan is on Thursday. Also had early scan at 6+6 where everything looked fine but massively scared shitting it now.

Hi, I have mine on Monday too. Will be 12+4. Haven't had any scans up until now but, as i'm a midwife, I've listened in myself with a doppler a couple of times. Am pretty nervous regardless!!

LS83- I was thinking of buying a Doppler as feel it would stop my anxiety and worry but is it very difficult and only really for trained users/ midwifed? as don't want to just make myself more anxious as I can't use it properly/ effectively.
I really thought after the 12 week scan I would be ok but I still fell the same in that I can't believe it and think something will go wrong.
We was just about to start IVF when I found out I had fallen naturally after 2 years TTC and being told we would never conceive naturally as partner had 98% abnormal morphology sperm, so this is a miracle baby for us and I want to enjoy it but feel like I am tempting fate to get excited or talk about it. Does anyone else feel so worried?

Kelly14 - please don't buy a doppler. All it can tell you is that the baby is alive at that moment - it can't reassure you that the baby is healthy or the heart rate is normal (even for a qualified midwife like myself who knows what to listen for!). It is very very difficult to just sit and wait for appointments (hence me spending 20 mins lying on the floor trying to listen to a 10 week metal heart!) and I completely understand your anxiety. It's only now that I've stopped going to the toilet every hour to check if i'm bleeding! Some days I don't even feel like i'm pregnant and I can't even enjoy morning sickness coming to an end because I worry it's because something is wrong. It's normal and you're not alone xx

Thank you for the advice x I won't get one as sounds like I won't be able to use and will just panic more lol
I still do the checking for blood Everytime I go toilet.
I know nothing can prevent anything happening either I just want it so much. I need to just relax now as know what will be will be and just enjoy it x thank you x

How was your scan op?

Scan today was fine, although the baby was upside down, after 4 attempts of me dancing and eating sugar it didn't want to move so I've now got to go back for the downs screen on Wednesday but otherwise fine today

Scan is later on this morning. Had a really vivid dream last night where there was no baby at the scan and I had to tell my dm in detail what had happened.

Woken up with a migraine. Feeling super anxious, don't think I was like this with DS.

Have a meeting with my boss first thing and I'm a mess
