When did you give birth?

I'm 39 + 3 and desperate to give birth!! Tonight would be super convenient!!
So...when did you give birth?
I'll start...with DC1 I gave birth at exactly 41 weeks.

Dd - I went into labour via breaking waters at 11pm on 39+6 but she wasn't actually born until 40+1.
Ds I went into labour less dramatically - just regular contractions - at 10pm on 39+5 and he was born the next day at 39+6. I seemed to have a habit of going into labour just before bed losing me an entire nights sleep before baby- not recommended!!!

Induced at 12 days overdue with DC1. Went into labour with DC2 the night before I was going to be induced (also 12 days overdue). So so pleased she arrived when she did. I did not want to go through induction again. Had a lovely water birth and no drugs that time around. Baby will arrive when baby is ready. It is so exhausting towards the end. So I feel your pain. I had many sweeps to try and hurry things along but nothing worked.

37+4, hadn't realised I'd been having proper contractions not just practice ones, then waters broke at 3pm. Baby born not long after 8pm.

41 weeks with ds. Currently 35 weeks with dc2 and hoping I don't go over as I'm already so uncomfortable.

Went into labour spontaneously both times, but had a few sweeps for each.

Both were supposed to be planned sections but were emergency due to early labour.

1 - 40 weeks and 6 days
2 - 40 weeks and 4 days
3 - 40 weeks and 2 days.

I always said if I had a 4th it would be on it's due date. I never plan to put my theory to the test though.

Waters broke at 40 weeks just before midnight of 40+1. DD decided to make an appearance 5 hours later so 40+1.

I remember thinking I'll be late as all my NCT buddies were late but then my MW asked about my family history and after asking DM it turned out both my brother and I were born on our due date. Not sure if this is evidence based but the MW seemed to think that your mother's timing has some influence on yours.

I was slightly less prepared than I'd like to have been thanks to my thinking I'll be late Wink

Dd1 - 2 days early. Ended in EMCS
Dd2 - also 2 days early. Was supposed to go in for ELCS but went into labour that very day

I'm 38+5 with PFB and I think I'm 'ready'.

I'm bored of waiting and excited to meet baby but also shitting myself. Not so much about the birth but the raising of an actual human.

She's currently doing some break dancing in my uterus, I think I'll miss that!

Dd1 - 27+1, emcs due to pre-eclampsia
Dd2 - currently at 32+5, looking at having an elcs this time round so hopefully will be born at 39 weeks, providing she stays in there long enough!
