Antibiotics help during pregnancy

I'm currently taking flucloxacillin which contains penicillin and I'm 11 weeks pregnant. I've been taking them for several days and just noticed on the label it says take on a empty stomach! Now if I start that now (5 days in) I would really struggle as my morning sickness is pretty bad and It would likely make me vomit! Has anyone eaten with them before and been ok? I'm obviously paranoid about meds with pregnancy anyway!

Hi there I've asked around and googled it and I think we'll be ok! Basically some foods I believe mean it doesn't work as effectively as it does on an empty stomach so it's not the end of the world if you have to eat a little

I was on these last month as I had a reaction to a wasp sting I was 30 weeks preg then. I was on 4 tablets a day and was told to eat an hour after taking one. They make you feel very sick. I couldn't finish the course because of it. Good luck xxxx
