1- Has anyone else noticed their belly button sometimes feels really hot in pregnancy? Should I be worried? It just goes very warm around the belly button.

2-I seem to be permenantly dehydrated. How much should I be drinking? I currently have about four pints of water -spread across the day...a pint at a time.

Thanks!

I don't know about the belly button thing (ask your midwife at the next appointment). As for the water. I read somewhere that if you're thirsty you should sip water rather than gulp it down, so it doesn't just pass through your body. Try drinking hot water so you drink it more slowly - that could help Smile

That i would end up with constant water infections. As soon as i come off one set of antibiotics I seem to be back on them a week later. I'm sick to death of it. Only 7 weeks til baby comes Grin

My belly button feels sore most of the time but not hot. My boobs on the other hand are a heat source all on their own!

4 pints is about 2.2l of water which is what you should be drinking anyway really. I drank 2.5l at least pre pregnancy and have been drinking at least another litre per day. Midwife always comments on how clear my urine samples are!

That thrush is really common and a massive pain.i had it loads in my first pregnancy and he suppose I should be grateful that I'm 37 weeks with my 2nd and am only just getting it now but it's so irritating and annoying and such a pain to get a doctors appointment to get treatment.

Thanks all. Belly button thing seemed a bit silly to mention to midwife but think I will.

I don't often feel thirsty...just notice that my urine is very dark.

Thanks.
