We're going to France in a couple of weeks. Very stupidly, it never occurred to me that my normal travel insurance may not cover me, especially as I'll be 30 weeks when we get home. We're not flying. Can anyone recommend a company that would cover me please?

I'm covered through my travel insurance with my bank account. I rang before we booked our trip (and before I became pregnant) and asked a LOT of questions including if we would be covered if we had to cancel due to pregnancy related illness and if I would be covered for any required treatments when abroad whether they be pregnancy related or not. They said everything was included but I still might look at an additional policy to be doubly safe!

Yes, our insurance is through my bank account too. I didn't even think about giving them a call because I assumed it wouldn't cover me. I'll definitely be doing that in the morning.

If your current policy doesn't cover you I would recommend Insure and Go as they specifically state in policy what is covered and also confirmed they cover baby's medical expenses in case of early birth. I think they cover up to 32 weeks
