Bruised painful bump 16 weeks

I'm 16 weeks and the last few days my tiny bump has been feeling really sore.
It feels very bruised. Not bumped it. I did have a 16 week scan and there was a fair bit of prodding. I have a posterior placenta. Anyone else?

I'm 16 weeks and although my bump doesn't feel bruised as such, it is tender and twingy... I think it's all the stretching! But if you have just had a scan, it could just be that the pressure of the machine-whatsit (technical term) making you feel a little sore.

The prodding at my 16w scan bruised me a little, I'd say it's probably that!

It is probably all the prodding - I don't know why some drs, MWs, and nurses have to be so heavy handed. I complained to one dr when I was about 7 months pg that he was hurting me, and he said I should be used to a bit of discomfort. Sod off.
If you don't feel better soon, get checked out. Flowers
