Hi Everyone I have been trying to find forums and support networks anywhere to try and vent to and ask questions!! I joined today and thought I would tell you my story!! I had slow rising HCG levels and then a scan! The scan confirmed that the pregnancy was in unknown location and there was no sac and my womb lining was only 6.3mm! I was advised after a week of static HCG levels to have a methotrexate injection!! I had this last Friday and am due to go in for day 4 blood tests tomorrow!! I am just so confused at what's happened!! I had a MC in November and my cycles haven't been right since then! When I found out I was pregnant I thought I was mid cycle and ovulating so I was really off with dates!! I am 30 and this is my second loss!! I just want a second baby so bad and I'm worried now that 2 in a row means something!! I have to wait 3 months apparently because of the methotrexate and I wish we could just try again as soon as possible!! Just feeling really crappy and would love some people to share experiences and give me some friendly support as when I'm trying to explain to friends and family they just don't get it!!! Sorry for the long post xx

I had the same had methotrexate on the 9th and 16th June took 3 weeks after the second injection to go down. Not much advice ect I want to try asap but obviously can't haven't even had a period yet so waiting till around start of September to try again. Hope your ok x when hcg reaches negative start taking folic acid again to build your folate up and methotrexate strips your body of this x

No the first didn't work only came.down to 1570 from 1590. Didn't bleed much till 7-10 days after 2nd injection and it was like a very very very light period and lasted about 10 days. I haven't had a period in 8 years as was on the implant had it out got caught straight away now I can't wait for it to return as I want at least 2 cycles so I know with dates ect as I had no clue how far gone i was with no periods ect. Have you and any side effects of the methotrexate? X

Yeah it gets better I found I was constantly tired. I haven't really got much advice but I think it's just one of those things I've learnt to accept mine was too soon after the implant removed and wasn't expecting to get caught straight away. My son is 8 so would be a huge age gap between him and the next one my partner doesn't have any so this affected him quite a bit. X

I had methotrexate injection in October for potential ectopic. I didn't really bleed afterwards but had a really heavy period about 4 weeks later and then back to normal after that. Conceived again immediately after the 3 month wait and am currently 29 weeks and all seems to be going smoothly. Think I felt a bit crap for a few days after the injection, but that was all physically. The worst part for me was the enforced wait to ttc again and the weekly blood tests until hcg fell to zero.

Totally get how horrible it all is! It does get better.
