Anyone else giving birth in August?

Feeling a little lonesome how's others August mums to be doing? X

I'm due on August 23rd but our dates were just a guess made on a rough measurement of a very wriggly baby at 10 weeks. I'm hoping it comes one or two weeks early. I'm tired and my emotions are all over the place. One minute I'm crying over nothing at all and then I'm being awful to people and then I'm crying again because I'm such an awful person. I'm also having quite a lot of stabby pains when I'm walking around and my back constantly hurts. Overall I'm miserable right now!

When's your due date? How are you keeping?

Yep, due on the 1st. I'm now fed up and tired after running round after my 2 year old. No signs of labour so convinced I will go over.

waves another august here, due on the 8th. Had enough now if I'm honest :(. Hot and uncomfortable - thank god my 5 year old can occupy herself nowadays lol

It's my 2nd and due date is 31st August BUT I'm never going to get to that date as I'm having a planned caesarean ( finding out the date on Mondays consultant appointment!!!)
The baby is breech but I've also got a mahoosive fibroid inside me which alongside my traumatic 1st birth ( bleeding, torn placenta and 3rd degree tear) has made me opt for the c section.

It's all getting real now ! And omg so uncomfortable, I swear the boy is trying to burst out my very tight bump. Especially at night when I lie down to try to 😴. I'm really tired but struggle to sleep.

This 2nd pregnancy has been a lot easier than my first ( I had spd) having to run around after my 4 year old has helped but I'm actually pretty stressed now, I keep having bad days and bless her she's being very good.

I like having a summer baby ( she was February 2013) and I recently passed my driving test so I've got the joy of a little car to bumble around in.

I'm battling with my oh about the name though, we've narrowed it down to 2 and I absolutely love 1 more than the other. Today as I've felt so rough I've been quite upset about it.

Due on the 20th but I think he might come earlier as he's breech now after 8 weeks of being head down!

If he is still breech next Thursday when I have a scan I'll be booked in for c section I assume as I had a previous EMCS

I so wanted to try for vbac this time! I'm not ready for him to come yet, I was hoping for quality time at home with DD

am furiously trying to get him to turn, fingers crossed 🤞🏻

I'm due on the 9th Aug, same as migicdoll, getting pains when walking around and also having to straighten up slowly as pains lower down in pelvis/ uterus. But on the whole feeling good and just want him here now. Uncomfortable sleeping and constantly feel stuffy and warm but just keep telling myself it will all be worth it. We also still not definite on a name, which is slightly concerning me but I'm sure one will just jump out and we will just know. Has anyone had any last minute things they have needed to do ?? Things I may have completely forgotten lol

I'm due 2nd August and convinced it's going to go on forever as I've had no real signs of labour yet and it's my first. I just want to meet her and I'm so uncomfortable and, as you can tell I'm writing this at 4.40am, can't sleep!

I am due on the 7th, which feels both awfully close and yet very far away. Nothing happening yet as far as I can tell, which makes the idea that a baby might soon be arriving feel very odd!

Yes me! I'm due August 22nd. I hope it doesn't end up being September. A couple more weeks would be good. My pelvis is so sore, my hubby says I moan in my sleep all night with the pain! Hope you're going ok :)

I'm due on 28th. I was 38 weeks with my first so I'm hoping for earlier. I am so done with being pregnant!

@SellMySoulForSomeSleep just wish we had some influence over this race!! ;)) how are you feeling? have you had any Braxton Hicks yet? Last night I had horrible period type pain, made me all sweaty

Due 21 Aug. Really hope she isn't 2 weeks late like DS. Don't want to be induced again and want this pregnancy over with sooner rather than later. Have terrible pregnancy insomnia, spd and a very active 2.5 yr old 😩 Not to mention big emotions with hormones. Am praying that a baby and toddler is easier combo than pregnancy & toddler. 23rd august here too! Seems to be the date for many! Was determined to get her out by 37 weeks but breechy over here has other plans! 😠 very stubborn. Awaiting the scan on monday to see if fluid levels are high enough to turn the little madam. And as soon as shes head down operation labour day is on!!! 😂 imma try everything! So fed up now.

Due on 3rd Sept but can relate more to end of August due ladies with this huge bump and tiredness. Baby sitting breech and kicking me!

dandysealioness no Braxton hicks as yet. I'm in so much pain with the PGP, exhausted and short tempered.

Baby is head down but it doesn't feel very impending.
I'm so ready for it.

@SellMySoulForSomeSleep mine's not engaged either, although at least he's head down. I've read second babies often don't engage until labour. I think we have a good chance of going early, and for you while we wait

I'm due 16th Aug. Baby has been head down in good position since 28 weeks but now seems to have moved back to back. Little bugger.

So ready for him to be out now. Been having Braxton Hicks for weeks and they are getting very uncomfortable and waking me up several times a night. Had a show on Tuesday but no signs of anything happening yet.

Everyone is telling me to relax and enjoy this time before baby is born but I can't sleep, I can't sit down for more than 5 mins without being in pain, I can't be on my feet for more than 10 mins without being in pain, I can't put pants on without being extremely uncomfortable...not really very relaxing!!
