Will this pram turn into a pumpkin at midnight?

We are looking for a pram that is tiny enough to fit in our lift. We bought our flat this year before getting pregnant and can't move to a bigger place so any pram has to fit.

Have a friend who i can tell is quite bitter due to occasional comments about my pregnancy but have tried to ignore it so far. Other day in her flat block i see a tiny pram that belongs to her neighbour in the stairway. I ask if she knows the neighbour well enough to ask about the brand of this pram because it is the first thing that I have seen that will fit in my lift.
Friend sneers that there is no point because I will never find a pram that will fit in my lift. So that was that.

Since announcing my pregnancy another friend keeps inviting me to all her get-togethers where all the parents meet up with their kids at weekends. I am usually apprehensive to meet big new groups of people all at once but I am trying to get over this and so I went along for a change.

There i got to know and got along really well with one of the mums. We have a lot in common because we studied the same and work in similar jobs. Then we realise we live in the same part of the city (city of over 1 million). Then it turns out she lives on the same street as my friend. Check out the pram and she is in fact my friends neighbour. She let me take pram for a test run in the park and showed me how it folds down and said she would bring it round to see if it fits in my lift.

Not only that, but someone at the meet had borrowed a bag of newborn clothes and has just given them back today. Would I like to take them instead?

So I think it is fate. This lady is my fairy god mother and I am destined for this pram. I just hope it fits.
