firstly let me say i am young, i mean I'm not like 16 but im still a teenager and I'm still too young to be a parent.
I never have unprotected sex which is why i'm freaking out so much now i have had it
I just want someone to tell me i'm worrying for nothing and I'm just being paraniod. :(

ok so here are the facts, sorry if this is getting confusing

  • My last period was on the 5th of June
  • my cycle on average is 32 days but i mean this isn't something thats set in stone at all, my last cycle was 37 days and its been up to 45 days before :/

I had unprotected sex twice on the 29th of june and a few days before that and on that day I had ovulation type physical symptoms ( Ya'll know i dont need to tell you what they are)
But i dont know if i was ovulating or not because my cycle is so unpredictable, I mean my gut says i was but i dont know if im just freaking myself out for nothing???

anyway so i went on a period tracker and it said if my cycle was 32 days then I should have had my period yesterday but its not come and its showing no signs on coming (no cramps or anything)
how long should i wait until i should really start worrying

i dont know what this means and i dont know what to do
before you say it, i know, i'm an idiot, i made a stupid mistake but shit happens doesn't it

thank you

Of course there is a chance you're pregnant. You've had unprotected sex a number of times during which you might have ovulated. Wait a couple of days then if your period doesn't come, take a test.

Firstly- stop beating yourself up, you're right we all make mistakes and do things we regret.

Secondly- calm down and take some deep breaths.

Factually speaking there is a chance you could be pregnant- however- there is only a 20% on any cycle if someone has unprotected sex on fertile days that they will become pregnant. Considering your age I would imagine you're more fertile than someone in their thirties.

You're not going to know until you test, I strongly suggest you do this so you can stop panicking and second guessing. Chances are you wont be pregnant however if you are do you have anyone you can talk to about it? Anyone you can turn to for advice? I promise you will be ok whatever happens. Flowers

There's always a chance that unprotected sex will lead to pregnancy, but even if you're trying actively for a baby the chances of concception every month are something like 25% - it's not guaranteed to happen.

Take a test if you are worried, if the test is negative and your period still doesn't arrive then wait 3-4 days and try again.

Good luck - and if it happens again, don't forget about the morning after pill!

I might sound really bad, but I understand your worried, obviously there could be a chance, but in my younger dads I never used protection at all, & I still didn't fall pregnant for 3 years, by that time I was in a relationship, I used to panic all the time but over thinking doesn't help, if your worried do a test, if it's negative you should come on, xx

You're not freaking out about nothing. Of course you could be pregnant. You had unprotected sex when you may have been ovulating. There's no point panicking and second guessing, however. Take a pregnancy test tomorrow. If it is negative and your period still hasn't arrived in a few days, then test again.

You had unprotected sex at the time you were probably ovulating... of course there's a chance you could be pregnant. You know that. The only way you'll know is if you take a test.
