Early scan today - petrified!

I am sitting here waiting to go for an early scan at lunchtime, I had really light spotting last night (am 10 wks) and a little this morning. Went to the docs who got me booked in straight away to get checked out. This has all happened so quickly I am not coping very well...

NEED advice - am going crazy. Had miscarriage in December 2006 at 16th week, had been bleeding throughout and didn't know was pregnant for nearly 10 weeks. Then lost it.
Now pregnant around 6-7 weeks, but first scan did not show anything. Conception was around 7 July 2007, so early days. But apparently it could be blighted ovum - or just to early to tell. Anyone inconclusive early scans at week 6-7?
No bleeding, but tummy crampss, tired, nausea, no sickness. Put all sports on hold.
WAITING for a whole week for next scan. Could it be another mis?

Wildwind - not necessarily a mis, but it could be. I had an early scan with my dd and it showed nothing, but two weeks later - all was well. So sometimes it is the sonographers skill or the machine,,,,, lots of possible reasons why they would not pick up an early pg. It is a difficult time.
I hope that you get good news next week.

Also I am newly pg again, had early scan two days ago, they could not see anything, today they saw a small sack. Then the sonographer said that they would not scan again til 8 weeks as they do not want me to go through what you are going through now. Sorry it is so difficult time for you. I hth

Hello all - had bad news. Another mis at 9.5 weeks this time. !!!
D&C was yesterday. Refuse to get depressed, because happens to so many women, but difficult to keep it together. Still no child.
Now nearly one stone heavier, unfit, and no kiddo. Grrrrrrr
Will not be defeated, just hope it's not a sign that our genes are bizarre or we cannot make a healthy baby. No disabilities in either family, at least nothing I'd worry about.
