Phenergan/Promethazinr and False Positives??

Hi everyone

Around 3 weeks ago I took 3 tests ( 2 Clearblue and 1 Tesco) after my period didn't show up. I had unprotected sex with hubby around time of fertile week according to my app. Period usually shows up like clockwork.

We are over the moon, however I only realised today upon reading packet of Phenergan that it can affect the results! I had no idea and I had been taking it at the time for both bad allergies and travel sickness. I've taken it last night and today for my allergies so it would be pointless to get more tests.

I'm so anxious after reading about Phenergan , I'm so worried it's a false positive and my heart will just shatter if it is.

I just wondered if anyone had gotten false positives on this med before or had any advice?

I think your period being 3 weeks late is confirmation enough that phenergan isn't the cause.

Thanks :) I just had this swirl of anxiety when I read that today and I got myself so worked up. I think so too. Think I'm just terrified this is all top good to be true
