Early pregnancy bleeding, reassurance needed

Found out on Tuesday I was pregnant (Yaaay), however I went to the toilet earlier and had pink ish watery cervical mucus when I wiped. Nothing since although I do have cramping which could be normal.
I've had a early MC before but the bleed came on straight away and turned into a period.
Anyone had similar and everything been ok?

Pink or brown spotting can be a completely normal symptom of pregnancy chick. You can always call your midwife for clarification but generally the advice is that if it is just spotting and here is no pain, everything should be fine! Good luck with your rainbow baby x

How are you today Anxiety?

SirNiallDementia · 03/06/2017 06:49

Hope the bleeding has stopped, it's such a worry isn't it. And very very normal according to the consultants I saw in my 3 pregnancies.

I had full on period type bleeds for the first 4 months in 2 of my 3 pregnancies, doctors had no idea why and the babies are strapping boys now! Strangely it was the non bleeding pregnancy that ended in a sudden m/c at 12 weeks.

Hope all is well x

Thank you for the reassurance.
Still no more bleeding today thankfully. Although I am still thinking the worst will happen. Let's hope I make it to 12 weeks. I think the worry will stop then

I bled similar to you throughout both of my pregnancies so I know how worrying it is. Was only told by the midwife as she read my notes when I was 8cm with my second "I see you have cervical erosion"! no one had ever told me. Both fine strapping adults now. Wishing you all the best.

I bled lightly early this week then Wednesday and Thursday a trickle bright red in toilet when I had wee. Yesterday EPU scanned me and we saw a very active 10 +3 baby. So please try not to worry too much...although I know easier said this done. Doctor could see any bleeding on scan either

Hi OP. Didn't want to read and run. Do you know how far along you are? Could you not visit your local EPU for an exam.

Thanks again for the comments.
I'm around 4-5 weeks so I don't think anything would be visible on a scan yet. Everything's looking good so far today so fingers crossed Smile

I had a very similar bleed, but more reddish than pink. I was referred to my local EPU who did an internal ultrasound, all that was visable was the gestational sac which they could only date at less than 6 weeks.
I had to go back a fortnight later for another scan and a fetal pole and heart beat were detected. Bleeds like these are really really common, but the stress and worry was enormous. I have my fingers crossed for you x

Hi, thank you for checking in.
Everything is ok still! I now have bloating so I look pregnant lol. It's quite severe bloating too, I'm a size 8/10 so it's quite noticeable. BUT no bleeding! Yaaaay

It can be harmless so try not to worry too much. I'm 33 weeks and still bleeding most days!
