I had a sweep at 2pm today and midwife said I was 1cm dilated (but not to get too excited about that as I've had a baby before and the cervix will never fully close again after that!). But about an hour later I started getting painful cramping. Sort of coming and going, sometimes lasting longer than others. Also back ache but no bloody show.
Could this be the start of something? Or could they just as easily fade away to nothing? Anyone had experience of this?
