Hi Ladies, my due date is 21st June. LO is extended breech, has been since we had 20wk scan. Consultant has booked me in for an ECV next Thursday, I am a little apprehensive but if it works then it's better than having an operation. This weeks scan has estimated her current weight as 6lb 6oz, bless. I am so fed up though, SPD, very swollen ankles and feet and the worst lower back ache today, just to top it all off! Confused

user1495731899 · 27/05/2017 19:14

6lb already bloody your gunna have a big baby if he grows any bigger lol . How u coping u any pains .

I'm completely fed up tbh! Really bad back ache again today, only time it doesn't hurt is if im sat still or in the bath. I could cry! 😩 i am already on co-codamol for spd and it doesn't even take the edge off it really.
I would be so happy if she arrives early!! Just want to wake up and feel better. I can cope with tiredness and a crying baby! Lol

user1495731899 · 28/05/2017 14:53

Co-codamol wow your brave my midwife prescribed me with codeine but was i heck taking them lol. Put me on cloud nine Grin I'd just sit in the bath all day if u can haha . Just put your feet up and rest. Were u from

Ive been on it since i was 16wks pregnant and ive built up such a tolerance now, that it's just like taking paracetamol!! Occasionally i might feel a tad sleepy if sat down, but thats it. The midwife said it will be marked on my notes for hospital to monitor LO for 12hrs after birth in case she suffers withdrawl symptoms. I'm from Shropshire, you?

user1495731899 · 28/05/2017 20:55

Oh that's good then at least u no there gunna check the baby when born.. I bet that puts your mind at ease. I'm from merseyside x

Exciting times Faith hopefully won't be too long a wait now.

I've got just less than 3 weeks to go, but found I have low amniotic fluid so have another scan and monitoring on Thurs to see what is going on... Ready to see a healthy baby at the end of this.

user1495731899 · 30/05/2017 18:02

Oh I yeah I have 2 weeks and 5 days left. Couldn't come quicker. But maybe I'll go over maybe I won't. As I went over with my others.. I should of stayed on at a work abit longer but I don't think I'd of managed tbh. X

@user1495731899 I'm getting impatient, my first was nearly 3 weeks early but that was 6 years ago.

Had MW yesterday and she said 2/5 engaged I got excited and came home to wonderful Google only to find out it counts for nothing! I assumed 2nd babies didn't engage until labour !!

user1495731899 · 31/05/2017 14:15

Your 2/5 cms it could progress realy quick. Or it could take another week. Fingers crossed it happens soon for you with the weather being warm. I've been the midwife today baby's head is realy right down keep getting shooting pains which are realy painful.

OP posts:
deb1407 · 31/05/2017 18:36

@user1495731899 - Fingers crossed for you. This weather isn't helping much either! .. I was out walking today but only managed half an hour. Was over at my friends and had to leave as Braxton Hicks were so strong; it's crazy how they can come on so intense and lay off to nothing 😩xx
