11w 6d sharp twinges near pubic bone

I keep getting really sharp twinges near my pubic bone which make me take a sharp intake of breath. They go all the down into my lady bits and almost into my bottom then as quickly as they come they go again.

I have used the Doppler and the baby is still there with a nice strong heartbeat.

What can these be? I don't remember them with my previous pregnancy at all.

I have my 12 week scan tomorrow so will mention them to the midwife at that point too.

Round ligament pain maybe? I remember having this in my first pregnancy although admittedly a bit later x

I had loads of that, it's the ligaments in your pelvis and lower abdomen beginning to stretch and soften to accommodate baby. Very normal, from my experience!

Totally normal . All part of "the gift"!

I just don't remember them with my first pregnancy at all... that's why I was a little worried.
