Breach baby 34 weeks

Hi ladies I'm 34+4 and in sheer agony with heartburn. I've suffered with sickness whole pregnancy but it's got worse again. I can't even bend down without feeling sick from heartburn.

Is this because my baby is head up.

Is any way of getting baby to turn. I carried really low with my son and didn't get this.

Been taking Zantac and last few days it's not even helping at all.
Feeling fed up

One of mine was I think head up around this stage. The need without me even noticing.

Lie on your left side as much as possible (inc in bed), get down on all fours as much as possible (like a lot), bounce on a birthing ball, when you are sitting on the sofa don't slouch back but sit forwards (or ideally lie on your left side). Good luck! You have plenty of time for it to turn.

Has your midwife not checked to see if baby's head down?? In your notes it should "ceph" which means head down. I'd think at 34 weeks, you would have been told if you was breech because by 36 weeks they start to worry about breech babies so they tell mothers before that to try and get them down. If you don't know, or have been told baby is breech, birthing balls and walking help get them head down. Walking also helps them engage as well as getting them in the right position, I was 4/5ths engaged Monday and I'm now 2/5ths after walking 8 miles and I'm in early labour so it must do something. Just get walking (obviously don't have to do 8 miles, I'm just trying to help labour) even if it's just up and down stairs, and get a birthing ball if you haven't already got one and bounce up and down & roll your hips, that's the main ways to turn them x

Thanks ladies. Yes was at midwife yesterday and she said still breach, I can tell when I lay down and go to sit up I can see baby's head popping out the top of my bump lol. She didn't seem concerned.

It's the heart burn that is making my life an utter misery.

Need to get a birthing ball but yes doing lots of walking. I'm finding it hard because baby is high I'm so out of breath

Sorry the way I wrote that was asking if including breach I know I'm breach I meant is the heart burn because she is head up. Totally thick moment sorry

A good news story for you. DD was breach untitled 24 hrs before my waters broke. She turned herself. Hope it goes well.

No idea about heart burn but my breech baby had her foot (or arse) in my bladder. If I wasn't flat on my back, I was absolutely desperate for the loo. I mean 5 year old, dancing about desperate. It was torture.

Baby's head is pushing up on your stomach. I had killer heartburn, often in tears and felt like I was drowning at night. Omeprazole was prescribed along with ranitidine (Zantac).
Nothing worked for my stubborn breach baby, no amount of swimming, bouncing or cleaning on all fours or an ECV!
The elcs was a lovely serene experience - never had to tolerate an internal or contractions.
The only thing I didn't try was moxibustion, personally it sounded a bit woo to me.

No advice for turning baby, but try only eat very little, often. Drink only water and don't eat after 6/7pm.
Extra pillows in bed.
Indigestion in my second pregnancy made me cry it was so bad at times.

Yes I think I'm going to have to beg for something stronger this heart burn is sheer agony.

Yeah as well as heartburn I feel as she's using my bladder as her own little birthing ball lol I feel like setting up camp in the loo whether it's for a pee or sick lol

I hardly eat and even drinking water is causing heart burn.
