Anyone ever had any experience of this?? Every thing else was fine but this was measuring 1mm more than the ideal range.
Blood tests at week 12 showed chance of Down's syndrome being 1 in 78500 so this has really hard me hard as everything up until now has been perfect.
We've opted to have the amniocentesis test but just worrying sick in the mean time! Appreciate any advice x

Hello just to write a quick message as I was so desperate to hear back from the ladies with any news of results too so wanted to let you know that when I did go back for a second check by the specialist luckily they said there were no problems and that it may have been the way the baby was positioned at the previous scan that the nuchal fold looked thicker which was such a relief to hear. Having said that the dr did say that there is always the risk even without any signs so we always have to hope and pray that baby is healthy. Fingers crossed and hope everything turns out well for you too x

@Derya123 How far along are you? Have you done any other testing or did you have a cell-free dna test?

For the record, I was going crazy with anxiety so I just had the amnio. FISH came back clear and the procedure was simple and easy. So in my case, my NIPT was correct, even with the thickened fold at 20 weeks. My baby is just really chubby.

Full karyotype came back completely normal.
