Is this round ligament pain?

I was sitting down and leant slightly to one side to pass gas (sorry but my entire digestive system is giving me hell!!), and I suddenly had a sharp stab on the right hand side, sort of on the inside of my hip bone (where it sticks out). I stood up quickly and it did it again a few time. Same thing when I sneezed.

Is this the right area for round ligament pain? I'm 14 week.

Could well be yes, as you often get round ligament pain when you get up or change position. I got a lot of it at around 13-14 weeks too, presumable as this is when your uterus starts to move up from behind your public bone/inside your pelvis to your tummy and I guess it in turn puts more pressure on everything trying to hoist it up!

Now 19 weeks, I have little of it though. It seems to come and go in phases for me.

Thanks This. I wasn't worried by the pain, I just didn't know where you get round ligament pain and if this was in the right place.

Lol - I've just realised that auto correct changed what should've been PUBIC bone to a public one in my last post 😂😂😂

I think, it's just anywhere "round" your pelvis 😉 Sounds very much like what I had anyway and the midwife told me is was RLP.

Mine felt like zaps, made me jump!
