Afternoon ladies, I'm 7+4 pregnant, and feel awful near enough all day everyday.
I feel fine when I'm lay in bed, but as soon as I get up it hits me like a brick. I feel sick, go light headed.
I haven't physically been sick until this morning, as soon as I had eaten my breakfast I had to dash to the loo.
Is anyone else having these types of symptoms??
It's getting me down, having no energy to do anything

Sounds pretty standard to me tbh, sorry! I'm 7+1, nauseous but not too bad if I keep snacking. I was worse last week but with work & a toddler I couldn't stay in bed like I desperately wanted to. Has your blood pressure been checked? Just with regards to the light headedness.

Hi thanks for your reply.
That's where I'm quite lucky, this is my first pregnancy, - supportive partner who doesn't mind me lying in bed lol.
No I haven't had my pressure checked, although I do have a doctors appointment tomorrow so will let them know and hopefully they will check it out for me

Yep, the first trimester sucks! Sickness and tiredness is normal. Rest when you can, try and eat little and often and sip fluids to stop being dehydrated. You can try Seabands and I found sipping Lucosade helped.

But if you feel the nausea and sickness is getting extreme, do talk to your GP. Mine hit me like a ton of bricks, I went to bed on Friday night and barely got up all weekend! The vomiting just got worse and worse and I couldn't carry on. Some level of sickness and nausea is normal, but it can get to a level where medication is required. Don't let yourself go to far and end up dehydrated, if concerned, please see your GP.

Good luck! Take one day at a time. It'll pass eventually (even if it doesn't feel like it at the time)

Hi,

I'm now 12 weeks, and the sickness has gone- hurrah! My nausea lasted up until week eleven, and then went entirely. Still odd aches and pains, but more energy and feeling less rotten.
You'll get there soon, I'm sure
