Thudding heartbeat

Anyone had this? Since being pregnant ive noticed my heart really thudding in my chest. Not racing just beating hard. Seems to be worse when i lie down.. Its difficult to nod off as i feel like my body is moving in time to the beat! Its not sore and my blood pressure reads 117/67 and beats per min is 90 (was about 80 pre pregnancy) my heart feels like its trying to escape!

I'm seeing my consultant on tuesday so I assume all checks will be done then. I'm just annoyed because I went in with a throat infection but 'it's not bad enough for antibiotics' so I've just got to bloody suffer like I have been for 2 weeks Hmm

I just hate being told 'yeah you're ill, but not ill enough for anyone to care' 😂

Glad you got yourself checked out :) Fingers crossed the results are all clear.

Aw JonSnow ditto, I've got a sinus infection but its starting to clear after 4 days of suffering so just have to get on with it... Great! Hope you feel better soon xxx

Have you cut down your caffeine intake to the absolute minimum? I found this helped for me.

OnNaturesCourse · 30/03/2017 19:25

Happy, I've cut it but not completely x

Thats fine don't need to cut completely but i cut mine right down using decaf tea and coffee and not too much chocolate etc and it helped as i kept having racing heart and like you say it literally felt like my heart was going to jump out my chest!

OnNaturesCourse · 31/03/2017 00:01

For sure ! I already had decaff tea and dislike coffee but my craving has been cola... So I'm going to source the decaff cola in next weeks shop!

Well after being all happy yesterday I took a funny turn last night and then this morning so I'm off to A&E on GPs orders.

Feeling close to fainting after climbing 5 steps is bad news apparently along with my throbbing head after.

😟

That doesn't sound far off from my daily bloody life lol.

But then I never know what's pregnancy related & what's down to my neurology problem.

Hope you're ok though, come back & let us know once you've been seen!

OnNaturesCourse · 31/03/2017 13:37

I just want a normal pregnancy... Do they exist?!

OP posts:
JonSnowsWhore · 31/03/2017 13:40

I'm beginning to think not!

Well my aunt sailed through being pregnant with twins at over 40, my cousin is having a nice normal pregnancy, no plans to start maternity leave yet at 32 weeks.

Me on the other hand, I feel quite close to keeling over most days! Last night I've had some kind of upset stomach aswell so that's just another thing to add to my list of ailments! There is definitely no 'pregnancy glow' though. That's totally mythical!

OnNaturesCourse · 31/03/2017 13:43

I'm only 5.5 weeks and I've seen enough of hospitals to last a life time.

Once already this week, and twice last week. Oh and a GP appointment too lol.

Hope you find a little glow soon...

Tell me about it, between me & my 3 year old bashing his face in, we've had enough of the place! He's back in for a hospital appointment on Monday & ive got one on Tuesday, & was there on Tuesday just gone for blood tests, Drs yesterday, urgent care for sons face monday just gone aswell. I'm done, just leave me in peace til it's baby time Haha

OnNaturesCourse · 31/03/2017 13:52

Definitely. I'd also like to be able to climb the stairs to the office without feeling the need to cuddle the floor... But that might be asking too much. Lol

Perhaps the wrong forum to post that on but how do you say it?
