A c section without an epidural?

I really don't want an epidural, but if there are complications during birth and I have to have a c section I still wouldn't want an epidural.

Has anyone had a c section without an epidural given? What pain killers have been given instead?

An epidural and a spinal are the same thing

Epidurals and spinals are for vaginal labours not C-Sections. I can’t have anything that is injected in the spine due to taking blood thinners but even then I have plenty of alternatives for a non-C section birth
